Part Two!

In 2024 we did the first Endless Bliss Course and it was a huge success. People from all over came to connect with Nityānanda–many were new to him. In Part One, we covered some of the basics of Bābā's biography, learned core teachings, and did practices together based on his approach to Mahāyoga. In Part Two, we're going to take it deeper.

Nityānanda

Bhagawan Nityānanda left his mortal form in 1961. Before that, he spent many decades as a spiritual master who has blessing and inspiring millions of people all over the world. The name Nityānanda (eternal bliss) was given to him by his devotees because of his constant state of yogic absorption. He is believed by many to be an avatar–a human incarnation of a divine deity. The stories of his miracles are endless. For some, he was not just a divine being, but a guru, a siddha master who initiated and guided disciple's spiritual path. Many of his disciples became siddhas in their own right.

Bābā, as he was known, was an avadhūta, a profoundly enlightened being whose state and behavior is extraordinary. He barely wore clothes (many avadhūtas are naked), spoke in a very unusual and simplistic way, and behaved in very peculiar ways throughout his life. In his younger years he was a wandering sādhu, later in his life he settled in the jungle village of Ganeshpuri, about 100km from modern day Mumbai.

Nityānanda didn't lead workshops or prescribe set practices routines or subscribe to any fixed yogic doctrine. Nonetheless, he was known for his intense absorption into the Divine and his ability to transmit experiences of that absorption to others in his presence. People would travel from all over India just to sit in his presence for a moment and be engulfed in his profound spiritual power. Even now, more than sixty years after he left his mortal form, Nityānanda's presence and blessings can be experienced. His power is still available for anyone who want's to experience that power within our own being.

Endless Bliss

Our course is a four week exploration of Nityānanda–not as a historical figure, but as a living transmission. The intention is to make a deep and palpable connection with him and the gurutattva (principle of transformation) he is the embodiment of. Connected to this energy, our own spiritual intelligence, known as kundalinī shakti, is awakened and nourished. Your connection to the divine will surely deepen and your meditations will take on a whole new level of power and breakthrough.

Our topic for Part Two is: The Yoga of Miracles.

This is a theme Harshada received from Nityānanda in meditation. The Yoga of Miracles is the path where we focus our devotion and discipline on practices that connect us with that unseen reality of Grace that blesses, heals, and uplifts us in ways that are beyond the comprehension of the mind.

We will learn new stories about his extraordinary life and learn about the world he inhabited in India during the early and mid 20th century. We will also study newly translated verses from the Chidākasha Gīta, a mysterious collection of Nityānanda's spoken teachings, recorded by a disciple during his early years. Each class will include discussion of Bābās teachings and guided practices that we will do together to help us connect with his living energy. Each week of the course will also include guided meditation practices specific to the course.

The live 90 minute classes will be on Zoom Mondays July 6, 17, 20 and 27 at 5pm PST. (recorded for playback)

Harshada's Evolution with Bābā

Since completing Part One of Endless Bliss, Harshada has done several important personal retreats to Bābā's places, both in Ganeshpuri where his samādhi shrine is, and also in Kanhangad where his original cave ashram is and Guruvan where it is believed that Bābā stayed and performed practices early in his life. He has gotten many new insights and "downloads" about Bābā's approach to Mahāyoga that he is excited to share. Harshada has been working on a writing project translating verses from the Chidākāsha Gītā and has learned a great deal about Bābā and other masters connected to his lineage. Harshada is planning the his first group Pilgrimage Retreat to Baba's places in January.

Bābā's spiritual presence is alive now more than ever in all of Harshada's offerings. This course will be a deep concentration of it.

Didn't do Part One? Don't worry!
