September 16 - October 23 2024

Bhakti is a word that means love, but not any ordinary kind of love. Bhakti refers to the love between a person and their Divine Beloved.

Bhakti is at the heart of any spiritual life. It is a process of putting the Divine Beloved in the center of our lives.

Bhakti is not a musical style.

Bhakti is not just being into spiritual stuff.

Bhakti Yoga is not just yoga classes with spiritual music.

When we say Bhakti, we’re talking about a deep process of centering the Divine Beloved in our bodies, minds, hearts, and lives.

When we say Bhakti Yoga, we're talking about making this process into a very deliberate path of learning and discipline and practice and transformation. It's not just a feeling, it's not a style, it's a path, a sādhana.

Different traditions have different approaches to Bhakti Yoga. No one way is right or the only legitimate way to do it.

In our Mahāyoga Tradition, Bhakti Yoga is that process of going from separation with the Divine to a state of living in oneness. We understand this is no small thing, so we have practices and teachings that support us at every stage. We have practices when we're feeling totally alone and separate, and we have practices that help us go deeper into the ecstatic dance of union with the divine. In our Mahāyoga tradition, we work with the awakened Kundalinī Shakti to help us have not just intellectual growth, but direct experience of the Divine within our being.

In our six week course, we will explore the path of Bhakti Yoga in a radically inclusive, non-dual, ecstatic, practical, approachable way.

We’ll have live Satangs via Zoom every week (in person if you can make it to Ojai, CA), and in-depth written lessons highlighting key verses about Bhakti from the wisdom traditions of Bhagavad Gita, Narada Bhakti Sutra, Guru Gita, and sacred poetry (including Hindu, Baul, Sufi and Christian poets).

For those wanting more of a personal exploration, there is an option to include 5 one-on-one sessions along with the course where Harshada can meet with you and explore the unfolding of Bhakti in your unique life and situation.

Who This Course is For:

It's for anyone who deeply cares about yoga, and by yoga I mean the actual classical meaning of yoga. My definition of yoga is this:

Yoga is the process of discovering, owning, and expressing our innate, sacred, human magnificence.

Yoga has come to mean so much less than this. It has become, for most people who use the word, merely an exercise method. This course is for true students of yoga, yoga teachers, yoga-related business owners, and anyone who wants to use the potent alchemical medicine of applied yoga philosophy to change their experience of being alive.

It's for anyone who is hungry to expand their experience of being alive and learn more about themselves on many levels.

How Does the Course Work:

We will take 6 weeks to go through six main aspects of Bhakti Yoga Practice and Philosophy. Each week on Monday I will do a live broadcast class. Classes are at Noon Pacific Time, 3pm Eastern time. People who are able to attend in person may attend in person in Ojai California, otherwise, people can attend the live broadcast on Zoom, or watch the high quality replay video which will be posted here on Teachable. Each class will feature an in-depth discussion on the deep secrets of Bhakti Yoga, guided practice, and questions and answers. In addition to the weekly class, notes, links, guided meditations, kirtan recordings, and other resources will also be posted here along with an actively moderated comment section for every week.

The video links and all other resources will remain on the platform indefinitely for your reference and further study.

SPECIAL ADDITION:The Immersion Level

For a limited number of people, we have a deeper level you can engage in. If you really want to go deep during the six weeks of the course, you can add on five sessions of private coaching for a massively reduced rate. This will allow us to dive extra deep and customize practices just for you and your life.

How Much Does It Cost?

The course is very affordable. Just $200 for the whole basic course. That's about the same amount you would pay to drop into a good weekly yoga class! The Immersion Level is only $1500. The coaching sessions alone normally would be twice that amount of tuition.

*We recently removed PayPal as an option for payment through this page. But if you would like to use PayPal or Venmo to pay, you can. Just email [email protected] and we will let you know how to do it.
